What Cardiovascular Health Covers
Cardiovascular health is how well your heart, arteries and smallest vessels move blood to every tissue. Most heart disease grows slowly from the same few drivers, which is why we look for them early.
Coronary Artery Disease
Plaque narrows the arteries that feed the heart muscle.
Cerebrovascular Disease
Reduced blood flow to the brain, which raises stroke risk.
Peripheral Artery Disease
Narrowed arteries that limit circulation to the legs.
High Blood Pressure
Constant strain on vessel walls that feeds all three.
When to Get Your Heart Checked
Risk often builds without symptoms. A visit makes sense when any of these apply to you.
- Blood pressure or cholesterol that keeps creeping up
- Prediabetes, diabetes or high fasting blood sugar
- A parent or sibling with early heart disease or stroke
- Palpitations, cold hands and feet or tiring easily
- Chronic inflammation, Lyme disease or long-term fatigue
- Normal labs, yet a feeling that something is off
Call 911 for chest pain or pressure, sudden shortness of breath, fainting, or weakness, numbness or slurred speech on one side. Those need emergency care first.
What Wears Down Your Heart and Vessels
Medication can lower a number without touching what pushed it up. Our plans target the drivers underneath.
Blood Sugar and Insulin
Glucose that runs high damages the thin lining of your blood vessels and makes them stiffer over time, often years before diabetes is diagnosed.
Chronic Inflammation and Infection
Ongoing immune activity from lingering infections, such as Lyme disease, or from inflammatory illness keeps vessel walls irritated. Finding these elusive drivers is the core of Dr. Yosef's work.
Oxidized Cholesterol
The total number matters less than what happens to the particles. Oxidized LDL slips into a damaged vessel wall and helps plaque form.
Nutrient Gaps
Low levels of key vitamins and minerals affect heart rhythm, vessel tone and how well the body handles oxidative stress. We measure them before we dose them.
Stress and Nervous System Strain
A nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight raises heart rate and blood pressure and slows recovery. Heart rate variability shows how much this is in play.
Toxic Load and Weight
Environmental toxins, smoking and extra weight add oxidative stress and inflammation, which the heart and vessels absorb every day.
Testing That Looks Past a Standard Panel
A routine checkup reads large arteries and a few blood numbers. We add tests that show the small vessels and nervous system, and read every result together.
Glycocalyx Assessment
A non-invasive look at the protective lining of your smallest vessels, where wear often starts first. How the assessment works.
Heart Rate Variability
The timing between heartbeats shows how your nervous system balances stress and recovery. About HRV testing.
Blood and Urine Tests
Customized panels check blood sugar, lipids, inflammation and nutrient levels. See our lab testing.
Thermography and EAV
Thermal imaging and Electrodermal Acupuncture According to Voll add detail when your history calls for it.

Natural Therapies Matched to Your Results
Your plan draws on the therapies we already use for root-cause care, chosen for the drivers your testing finds.
- Nutritional counseling built on your allergy testing, blood sugar and goals
- Orthomolecular medicine: oral and IV vitamins and minerals dosed to your levels
- IV therapy for anti-inflammatory, detoxification and energy support
- Homeopathic and herbal treatments and targeted supplements
- Weight-loss support with oral supplements and injection therapies
- Avacen and Biomodulator devices that help reduce inflammation
Care Alongside Your Cardiologist
We do not perform stress tests, imaging or procedures, and we do not ask you to stop prescribed medicine. Our part is finding why your numbers moved and correcting it naturally, with findings shared with your care team when that helps.
What to Expect at Our Scottsdale Office

Cardiovascular Health Questions, Answered
What are the three main types of cardiovascular disease?
The most common are coronary artery disease, which narrows the arteries feeding the heart; cerebrovascular disease, which affects blood flow to the brain and can lead to stroke; and peripheral artery disease, which reduces flow to the legs. High blood pressure drives all three, and the same root factors sit underneath each one.
Do you replace my cardiologist?
No. We do not perform cardiology procedures such as stress tests, imaging or stents. Our role is to find and address the drivers behind your numbers, such as inflammation, nutrient gaps and blood sugar, and to share findings with the rest of your care team when that helps.
What is a glycocalyx assessment?
The glycocalyx is a thin protective layer lining the inside of your blood vessels. Our non-invasive assessment looks at the smallest vessels, where wear often starts before standard checks show a problem. A first reading sets your baseline, and rechecks show whether your plan is helping.
What does heart rate variability tell you about heart health?
Heart rate variability measures the small changes in timing between heartbeats. It reflects how well your nervous system balances stress and recovery, which also shapes blood pressure and vessel tone. We read it beside your labs rather than on its own.
Can cardiovascular health improve without more medication?
Many risk factors respond to changes in diet, nutrients, weight, sleep and stress, and that is where our plans focus. Some patients still need prescription medicine, and that decision stays with you and your prescribing doctor. Testing over time shows what is working for you.
Should I stop my blood pressure or cholesterol medicine?
Please do not stop or change any prescribed medicine on your own. If your numbers improve, we encourage you to review your prescriptions with the doctor who wrote them. We plan natural therapies to work safely alongside what you already take.
How much does cardiovascular care cost?
Cost depends on which tests and therapies fit your history, so it is set out at your consultation. We review it with you before any testing begins.
